Scientists from the U.S. found that the loss of flesh avoids urinary incontinence in women. The program of reduction of body weight, U.S. researchers have used that included diet, physical activity and various behavioral training.
The experience was conducted in the University of Alabama and California, participated in the study 338 women with abnormal body weight, which was observed up to 10 episodes of urinary incontinence in the week. Six months to comply with the diet, women, and all participants had lost an average of 7.7 kilograms of body weight, and frequency of episodes of bladder weakness decreased by 47 percent.
Now intend to conduct such a study among men who have problems with excess weight and involuntary urination. In the meantime, scientists recommend that tested the program to include weight loss in therapy in urinary incontinence in women with obesity.
