Grape kills germs in the mouth

U.S. scientists have proved that mnogofenoly contained in grapes, to effectively fight the infection in the oral cavity. These substances found in fruit skin and seed. Scientists studied the effects mnogofenolov bacteria streptococcus mutans. S. mutans plays a major role in the destruction of the teeth, turning sucrose in lactic acid.

Acidic environment created in the mouth this process is the reason that highly mineralized tooth enamel becomes vulnerable to destruction. The bacteria is circulating in the mouth enzymes, such as glue substance glyukany, and they in turn create a layer resistant to antibiotics.

These bacteria not only to the destruction of tooth tissue, but can lead to complex forms of meningitis, pneumonia, and disruption of the heart. Scientists have identified mnogofenol of red grapes, in which the content of this substance at 40% higher than in white. The result revealed that mnogofenol reduces the acidity in the mouth and the activity of bacteria by 85%.
