Relaksin reduces the risk of death from the cores

Hormone of pregnancy has a relaxing effect on muscles of blood vessels. Relaksin also reduces the cases of sudden cardiac arrest and enhances survival during cardiac arrest, proved the American researchers. Scientists have found that hormone relaksin, develops during pregnancy, is safe and can be reduced. People who have high blood pressure, doctors prescribe vasorelaxant funds, which gradually leads to a weakening of the heart and oxygen starvation of internal organs.

Specialists conducted a study, which was attended by 234 elderly people, survivors of cardiac arrest. Some patients received the drug with the hormone, and gave the rest a placebo. After 48 hours, researchers found that those who received the drug with the hormone, reduced dyspnea by 17% compared with those who took placebo.

According to the researchers, the hormone is safe and can increase survival in people at risk of cardiac arrest. Only in the United States stop the heart moved 5.3 million people. The disease is chronic and the State allocated huge funds for its prevention and treatment.
